How to add watermark to a pdf document?

  1. Open the document in Adobe Acrobat Professional;
  2. From ‘Tools’ menu open the ‘Page’ pallet, select ‘Add Watermark’ from ‘Watermark’ tab;
  3. Under the ‘Source’ section add the watermark text and text formatting or select the file to be inserted as watermark (the file needs to be in pdf format);
  4. In the ‘Appearance’ section change the ‘Rotation’, ‘Opacity’, ‘Scale’ or ‘Location’ of the watermark (Text or File);
  5. Finally in the ‘Position’ section edit the position of the watermark.
